Installing Analysis Plugins

Analysis plugins can be installed anywhere on the user's machine. The location of the plugin is a database setting which enables multiple plugins to exist on a single machine. A template database can be used to ensure that the database is preconfigured with the proper plugin location. See About Template Databases.

How to install an analysis plugin

Place the Hs_UDef.dll in any location on the user's machine.
Open the HyperSizer database.
In the menu bar, go to Preferences | Plugins. See Database Plugin Options.
Click the "User Defined Analysis" tab.
Browse to the folder location of the DLL.
(Optional) Browse to the user data directory. See User Defined Inputs.
Click OK.
