The Concept Selection form is used to assign panel or beam concepts a component or assembly.
The concepts are separated into panel and beam families.
Important: Multiple concepts can be selected for a component or assembly as long as they are in the same family. When sizing, the lightest weight panel concept that passes all of the margin of safety checks will be returned.
How to selection concepts for a component or assembly
After defining the material type and sizing/analysis method for an assembly, the sizing form will display blue text indicating that the concepts must be selected. Click "Select concept(s) from the drop-down menu.
Select the desired panel/beam family and panel/beam concept. Select which project entity to apply the concept (Assembly or Component).
Tip: Use the Select From FEM option to open the FEM Viewer and select the components using the FEM Viewer.
