Ply angle percentages can be displayed for components with effective laminate or discrete laminate results. This data is available any time after the assembly has been analyzed from the Sizing form.
To view the ply angle percentages, select the Plot Laminate Ply Data icon
To repeat the plot displayed above, select the icons in red circles. The white check marks indicate icons that are useful to have on as well.
Notice the percentage of 45 degree fibers is being displayed in the graphic. Components with a higher percentage of 45 degree fibers are a darker blue.
Other ply angle percents can be displayed. From the Data drop-down menu, click Output Laminate Ply, then select a Plot angle. The laminate thickness is also available.
Tip: Click [Page Up]/[Page Dn] to preview the next ply angle.
Select the Show Ply Counts icon 
The ply percentages for each angle direction are displayed for each component. The percentages are categorized by fabric and tape.
