A free edge is created at the assembly edges. Its primary purpose is to plot edge forces for internal loads verification and understanding. Assemblies can be specifically defined that "cut" a free body to visually see the direction and relative magnitude of load going from one part to another.
To activate the edge capability, the user should select the Plot Free Body Edge Loads shortcut icon.
The options listed in the Edge menu are similar to those listed in the other drop-down menus.
