Editing Stringer Segments

Stringer segment element assignments can be modified. The element assignments are defined for each object. See Discrete Object Assignment.

How to edit a stringer segment

Open the FEM Viewer.
Select the component of interest as the active component. See Setting the Active Component.
In the menu select Component | Change Stringer Segment Membership for [Object].

You can also right-click on the legend to get these selections.

The pick form appears.
Add or remove elements. See Using the Pick Form.
Click Apply.
