About Units

There are three sets of units tracked in HyperSizer:

Display Units Display units are the units used to display data in every form except the material forms. Display units are a project setting and can be changed at any time. See Setting Display Units.

FEM Units FEM units are the units used to import and export the finite element model. FEM units are a project setting. After the finite element model has been imported into the project, these units cannot be changed. Setting the FEM Units.
Material Units These are units used to display data in the material forms. Material units are a database setting and can be changed at any time. See Setting the Material Units.

The active units for unlabeled fields can be queried by resting the mouse pointer on a cell, as shown below.
