Creating Margin Analysis Detail Reports

Margin analysis detail reports contain intermediate data used to generate margins of safety for each component and analysis. This aides the user in tracing through the details of the margin of safety calculation.

For each component, the analysis details pertaining to the most critical load cases are stored (sorted by margin of safety).
This report will export data for all component in the project - regardless of which entity was analyzed last.
Users can create margin analysis detail reports for user analyses. See User Defined Stress Reports.

How to create margin analysis detail reports

Open the Sizing form or Project Setup form.
In the Home tab, select Stress Reports | Margin Analysis Detail.

If you don't see this option, either sizing results are not available, or the report is not supported for the current analysis mode.

A file browser appears.
Browse to the location where you want to save the report. Click Open.
After the report finishes generating, Excel will open.
