Setting the Active Assembly

ClosedHow to set the active assembly using the Sizing form
  1. In the Sizing form, navigate to the assembly of interest.

  2. Click FEM Viewer.

    If the FEM Viewer is not open, it will open.

  3. Verify the active assembly by selecting Assembly from the menu bar.

  1. Open the FEM Viewer.

  2. Click Active.

    The Active Model Items dialog appears.

  3. In the "Active Assembly" drop-down menu. Navigate to the assembly of interest.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Verify the active assembly by selecting Assembly from the menu bar.

  1. Open the FEM Viewer.

  2. Click Color By Assembly. See Color By Model Item.

  3. In the legend, left-click the assembly of interest. See Show Legend.
  4. Verify the active assembly by selecting Assembly from the menu bar.
