HyperSizer Options

The HyperSizer Options form is accessed by going to Preferences | Options in the main window.

Directories

Project Working Folder This directory contains temporary project files created and referenced during operation. It is imperative that the user have read/write permission to access this directory.

Important: The user must have full read/write privileges to the Project Working Folder.
Database Template Folder This directory contains the database template required to create a new database. For Version 6.1, the database template will be named "HyperSizer Database Template 6.1.hdb." This database is copied each time a new database is created.
Workgroup File The workgroup file contains the user name and passwords required for accessing the database.

Show tooltips on all forms If selected, tooltips will appear under some items.
Remember screen position of major forms If selected, the relative size of the forms will be saved. This can cause problems if a database is opened on another machine with substantially different screen resolutions or monitor configurations. If some forms are not visible, click the Reset All Positions button and try again.
Open previously opened database If selected, the most recent database will be opened after user login.
Database max locks per file This is an advanced setting that determines the amount of file locks that can be placed against the database during a transaction. The recommended value is 50000. This setting takes effect when the next database is opened.
