Panel Buckling

Following are options related to Rayleigh-Ritz method panel buckling.

Rayleigh-Ritz Shear Buckling Force All Modes (Default = False)

[Boolean] Flag to enable exhaustive search for critical buckling wavelength for shear panel buckling to ensure that possible lower energy mode shapes are not missed. If this option is activated (True), HyperSizer will use the tolerance specified below to determine whether the exhaustive search mode activates. The exhaustive search mode can cause analysis time to increase substantially.

Rayleigh-Ritz Shear Buckling Force All Modes Tolerance (Default = 1.0)

[+Real] Tolerance (between 0 and 1) that determines whether to go into an exhaustive search mode for shear panel buckling. This mode activates if the shear load is greater than the tolerance times the compression load magnitude. A tolerance value of zero means that the exhaustive search mode will execute regardless of the shear or compression load. A tolerance value of one means that the exhaustive search mode activates only if the shear load is above the compression load.
