Adding Materials to Several Variables
« on: September 19, 2012, 12:17:20 PM »
Hello,

I would like to know how is it possible to add materials to different variables of the same defined group ?

Indeed, using    " *GroupMaterials, groupId, variableCode"    allows to assign different materials to a single variable, but is it possible to assign a material to different variables of the same group of materials ? In other words, define a material for the top face thickness, the core thickness, etc. of in one group.

Thanks a lot.

The best way to do this is to link the materials within the group. For example, if you are using the Corrugated family, select "Link materials for facesheets and core" in the Concepts tab. If the materials are linked, then you only need to define materials for the top facesheet variable.
