Setting the Active Component

ClosedHow to set the active component using the Sizing form
  1. In the Sizing form, navigate to the component of interest.

  2. Click FEM Viewer.

    If the FEM Viewer is not open, it will open.

  3. Verify the active component by selecting Component from the menu bar.

  1. Open the FEM Viewer.

  2. Click Active.

    The Active Model Items dialog appears.

  3. In the "Active Component" drop-down menu. Navigate to the component of interest.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Verify the active component by selecting Component from the menu bar.

  1. Open the FEM Viewer.

  2. Click Color By Component. See Color By Model Item.

  3. In the legend, left-click the component of interest. See Show Legend.
  4. Verify the active component by selecting Component from the menu bar.
