I am analyzing a metallic, stiffened panel and came across an error in the reporting of the Johnson-Euler Interaction allowable (Screenshot attached). Using the equations associated with the documented method, The Pje is calculated to be approximately 881.6 lb/in, but the report shows a 904.6 lb/in. The margin of safety reported reflects the 881.6 lb/in allowable, plus some round off. Is there another factor that I am missing that would cause the discrepancy in allowable reported?
Thank you,
Jared

Hi Jared,
What stiffened panel concept are you using(I,J,Z,etc)? Is it a smeared or discrete stiffened panel?
Thanks,

Hi Brent,
I am using a Non-FEA, smeared stiffened panel with Z-fastened stiffeners.
