Question submitted by HyperSizer user by email:

How do you back up files so that if I goof up I can restore to where I was?

Several options here.

First is just to copy the HyperSizer database.  It the file you first open when you start HyperSizer with the extensions *.HDB.

Second, If you are happy with a snapshot of a particular project, you can right click the project in the tree and say “Copy Project” and then copy it to a new name and then just keep going from there.

Third, you can save Group and Component designs on the sizing form.  To save a set of group settings, go to Group | Group Design | Store Group Design.  You will have two choices.  You can save all of the groups settings to be used by any other group in the current project, or save the settings globally to be used by any other project in the database.  You will have similar options on the Component menu.

I hope this helps.
