Analyze Project - Permission Denied Error
« on: March 04, 2009, 03:25:37 PM »
Whenever I analyze a component, group or project, I get the following error:

Application Error in clsHyperSizerProject::WorkingFOlder [Property Get] ()

Line #20, Error #70, Permission Denied

Can you help diagnose this error?

I believe your error has to do with File Permissions.  If you open Preferences | Options from the HyperSizer window, you will get a dialog as shown in the attached file.

The folder called “Project Working Folder” is a location where HyperSizer must be able to fully read/write and execute files.   You must make sure that you have FULL CONTROL over this folder and every subfolder of this folder in order to run HyperSizer.

In fact, our recommendation is that your systems admin give you full control over the following folders:

C:\HyperSizer Data
C:\Program Files\HyperSizer

And all subfolders to ensure smooth HyperSizer operation.

Please let me know if this helps.
