HyperSizer is synergistic with formal optimization strategies. HyperSizer brings into its software environment the computed optimum stiffness distribution of say, a wing, which has been subjected to aeroelastic, flutter, and divergence objectives.
Based on general optimization requirements, HyperSizer performs local optimization considering hundreds of detailed failure modes. Hypersizer will determine optimum panel or beam concepts, shapes, sizes, thicknesses, dimensions, spacings, material selections, and composite layups that achieve the formal optimization stiffness distribution, while also achieving positive margins for the hundreds of failure analyses while also meeting all other design objectives.
