Hi,

I'm trying to understand the loads used to calculate the margins by Hypersizer, but I see some inconsistencies.
For instance, the Nx load reported in the Stresses Tab for the object "Open Span" is -230438.9, but if I generate an analysis details report for "Isotropic Strength, Yield, Von Mises-Hill Criterion" in "Open Span" location, the "Nx, object" load reported is -253891.3. Shouldn't they be the same?

Thanks!

James

The Nx in the analysis detail report, the Nx load for the controlling location of the object (top, middle, bottom) is reported.

The Nx in the stresses tab is the average Nx, through the thickness of the object.

I hope this is helpful.
