Thickness range in the “isotropic material form” ?

(1/1)

orchidworld:
Dear all,

In the help documents there is  only orthotropic material form's items explanation.

what is meaning about Thickness range in the "isortropic material form",  it is Max.Thickness??

thanks

James:
The thickness range is a way to classify mechanical properties for the isotropic material. If you look at the MMPDS handbook, strength properties are different for varying thickness ranges.

In HyperSizer, the thickness range stored for the isotropic material does not impact any analysis method.
