Does HyperSizer recognize scientific notation formats in bulk data file?
(1/1)
hyperuser:
I was looking through my original plate element cards and noticed the material orientation was written in scientific notation. When looking at the HyperSizer output in the CP1 file, I noticed the material orientation was no longer in scientific notation, but it wasn't written out correctly. Here's an example:
Original format imported into HyperSizer:
CQUAD4 1106169 1251210 1491848 1491892 1360355 13598122.3476-4
Material orientation angle is 2.3476-4
HyperSizer output:
CQUAD4 1106169 1251210 1491848 1491892 1360355 1359812 2.348
HyperSizer dropped the "-4" and make the angle 2.348
I'm using v.5.8.11. Am i interpreting this incorrectly or is this a bug?
James:
This was a software bug in v5.8.11 it has been fixed in v6.1.69 which is available on our website.
