Can  Hypersizer accommodate BJSFM test correction factors and if so how?

Hypersizer Revision V5.7.3 does not currently support test correction factors.

WORK AROUND
A work around is to open the failure TAB in the sizing form. Right click on the BJSFM Margin of Safety and in the pull down menu select "Required Margin of Safety".

If a test correction factor = 0.80, the required Margin of Safety would be (1.0 / 0.80) - 1.0 = 0.25.  A Margin of Safety below 0.25 will be displayed in red when executing the analysis. Also, the optimization process now creates a design solution based on the 0.25 Minimum Margin of of Safety.

FUTURE
A future revision of Hypersizer may include a user input (component based) to include several test correction factors. These factors could include and not limited to..

Countersunk correction
Eccentricity correction
Hole diameter correction
Hybrid correction
shim correction
Edge distance correction
