I have a question regarding the laminate defintion form

I am using a laminate already defined in an existing database.

I would like to know what are the column L1, L2 and L3 between the column corresponding to the angle and the column corrsesponding to the thickness ?
These columns also include little toggle switch.
So I'm guessing it is to turn off some plies in the laminate definition (ply drop off ?). But then how do I specify which one of the L1, L2 or L3 definition is actually being used in my analysis?

These L2, L3 and L4 columns are used when defining a "hyper-laminate" which is used to define ply drops between the upper flange, web, and lower flange of a stiffened panel.
